engenho is a two-person studio in Braga, Portugal: an illustrator and an engineer who'd rather build a few things well than many things quickly.

We started engenho because the best work happens when design and engineering are not two departments arguing over a wall. They are two friends at the same bench. The illustrator brings the eye, the hand, the brand. The engineer makes it real: fast, accessible and built to last. We work from Braga, in English and Portuguese, with clients across Europe and beyond.
