Seven sections in two languages and two complete visual systems, chosen by URL and rendered on the server.
The brief
School sites carry a decade of accreted pages and lose the one thing a parent wants: a reason to trust the place with their child. The question was how a school with a long history and an international curriculum should present itself online.
Our approach
Two coordinated looks on one component set. Heritage sets deep navy on warm cream with a single gold accent, Fraunces for headlines and Inter for reading. Spectrum rebuilds the same pages on white with four accent colours, wave dividers and gradient calls to action. A mega menu, an accreditation marquee, a four step admissions journey and an enquiry form carry the content.
The build
Next.js with the App Router, content typed in TypeScript in two languages, and the look chosen per request in the proxy layer so each theme renders on the server without a flash. Scroll reveals, a pausable marquee and reduced motion handling throughout.
The result
A prototype that lets a school see both directions live before choosing one.
