Five pages and a project template in plain HTML and CSS, no framework, no build step, with reveal motion, counting stats and filterable works.
The brief
Ateliers that build serious houses often present themselves with the web equivalent of a business card: a template, a logo, a list. The question was what a practice with fourteen years of built work should look like online if the work itself came first.
Our approach
An editorial system with a three tone budget: warm paper, near black ink and one oxblood accent. Fraunces with optical sizing for the display voice, Inter for reading, a monospace for eyebrows and numbers. A full bleed hero, a slow marquee, a manifesto, and a works grid that is deliberately asymmetric, like a drawing board rather than a catalogue.
The build
Plain HTML and CSS, one stylesheet and one script, no framework and no build step on purpose: the constraint keeps it fast and keeps it ownable. Sections reveal as you scroll, images unmask, counters format in Portuguese and the works archive filters by type.
The result
A site that reads like the practice it is for: considered, slow where it should be, and built with nothing it does not need.
